Hey all,
This is the thread to discuss the tactics of Lei Shen. From the experience yesterday, I would suggest we change a few minor things:

1. Lucreciae, Obsolus
2. Begemmot, Euina
3. Suppression, Cannibal, Alkosh
4. Kebabman, Flupper, Percyval

Static Shock solo soakers:

Begemmot: Deterrance
Alkosh: Dispersion (Symbiosis on Suppression)
Flupper: Divine Shield (Symbiosis on Percyval)
Percyval: Bubble

PLEASE remember, if someone is solosoaking with one of these abilities, you will die if you join in on the soaking!

When we come to first transision phase, this is how each group should soak the static shock:

Grp1 - Only tanks here=No soaking
Grp2 - Begemmot soaks first with Deterrance, both soak second one (if any)
Grp3 - Alkosh soaks first with Dispersion, all soak second one (if any)
Grp4 - Flupper soaks first with Divine Shield, Percyval soaks second one with Bubble (if any)

This should help the static shock phase abit. I would also consider for me (Euina) to go dps. The reason is that it will make the North Conduit on lesser energy thus making the damage taken from Static Shock less.

Sounds like a plan! I also like what Callum suggested about pulling the boss away from the conduits temporarily to slow the energy generation during phase two.
Is it better to be feared or respected?
Well, I say, is it too much to ask for both?

Well If I symbio Percy I lose it on Jamie wich gives me a 50% dmg reduction wich is nice to duo soak. So not sure about this tbh.

About the conduits, why dont we pull them a bit from the pillars in phase 1 aswell. Not to much just a couple times. Doing this + going with Thomas will be a major decrease on the dmg taken I think. Maybe we could go then with a 60-50-50-50 instead of 85-75-75-75 like yesterday. Wich means 100 power less. Dunno hoz much that is in dmg calculated.

@Flupper the soaking doesn't really do that much damage. Better to just survive the static shocks in transitions.

Okay raiding home on Monday, so DPS and movement will be on form :D (Only went to dad's because said I would before we extended)

Raid analysis - We have learnt every mechanic of the fight. I think people handle them really well and knowledgeable to what they are now. ~ The transition is the balls up (Like most guides mention), it isn't really HARD as such, cause we all can do the mechanics as I just said. The 2 reasons we are failing (Probably just 1 now):

1. People dying from static shock (This seems pretty well handled now with the suggestion from Thomas Winther´╗┐ for me and Flupper to use Symbosis and the groups moving round. 2 Bubbles and Dispersion is really nice [We can probably check that as solved]
2. The combination of [Diffusion Chain] and [Overcharged]. (We need to be keeping an eye on timers all the time INSTEAD of looking at people and floor, we just need for when you see this to become second nature, if people shout it even better it is better to get stunned and take damage that is moderate than spawn adds.

Once these are handled right damage is very minimum to just Static shock healing. We also need to decide the kill order of Conduit's instead of debating half way through.

Ok, secondary tactic - 4/4/1/1

Reading up on the solo-soaking, it seems we have 3 pure solo soakers in our team:

Begemmot: Deterrance
Alkosh: Dispersion (Symbiosis on Suppression)
Percyval: Bubble

Grp1: Obsolus
Grp2: Lucreciae
Grp3: Euina, Alkosh, Cannibal, Flupper
Grp4: Suppression, Kebabman, Begemmot, Percyval

Obviously, if a solo-soaker gets static shock, noone should stack on them.

Tank tips:
1. When we hit the transision phase, I think we should have the off-tank standing on the quadrant that is overloading. That way suppression can leap the tank back quickly.

2. There can be 2 bouncing balls on the transision phase. You need to soak one, pick up the add, soak the second one on the re-bounce. This isnt an issue at all for a tank. Youtube vid from tank perspective

3. Remember that Lei Shen can be immune to taunts because of the diminishing returns. This is relevant in phase 3.

About static shock, just copied from forums:

" ... The 1 shotting takes place (10N), when one of the soakers uses certain personal absorb Cds and damage that is spare gets divided by other 2 instead. Hence - soon as we stopped people using personal immunities and absorbs no one got 1 shot any more, and we used the basic 3-3-2+2 tanks group, where rogues took some solo.

The work around is simply i.e. shield all soakers by healer, or none at all.

If this is not intended by Blizzard it ought to be fixed. if it is intended - the journal wording should be more accurate. ... "

East - Diffusion Chain
South - Overcharged
West - Bouncing Bolt
North - Static Shock

1st Phase [East - Overload]

E [START] (90) > S (80) > W (80) > N (80)

2nd Phase [South - Overload / No level up] (Can pull him in out to stop level)

N [START] (90) > W (80) > S (80)
